Default Timing Belt

The recommended timing belt change for a 2006 RX330 is 100k miles but I've heard of some being changed at 200k and still they look good. I guess I'm tight, Flow Lexus in Winston Salem NC quoted $1450 with the water pump change out included. I agree with the pump change out even though at the present time I have no leaks. What kind of timing belt service have any of you had with your cars.

This work's "real" price is $600-650 (not at Lexus Dealer), so just find a reliable shop.
PS: The timing belt is recommended to replace every 90k.

Call a shop that specializes in Toyota / Lexus for a much better price. iMSQ is right, with belt, pump and tensioner, ~$650 or so. Try this place:
TLC Automotive Repair, Inc.
2960 Griffith Rd # 9 · (336) 794-0333

The Timing belt on my 2005 RX330 was changed at around 90K miles, and the Old Timing Belt was Really Cracked and Looked Worn!
I'm Extremely Glad it was Changed then and Not Done Later.
A Good Reputable Independent Toy/Lexus shop should charge, around $600-$700 to do both.
Don't Wait, it's Not worth the Chance! Replacement Engines are way more than the Cost of a Timing Belt Replacement!
