Default silly question: How to unclip headlight wire connector?

I have adaptive headlights on my 2009. To get to the bulb I have to twist out a big grey cover. There is wire connected to cover that has a small white clip/connector. I am pretty sure I am either supposed to lift the tab on the connector or press one down. Don't want to kill it by doing it wrong. Do you know what I'm talking about? It's like the big white one in this photo. Looks like you lift the tab and it looks like they break off easily.

Default

Spray it down with warm water and press down. Mine was caked in dirt and really stuck together. It can also be detached from the housing for easier removal. If it’s really stubborn, you can slip a flatblade and press down on the tab from the other side.
