Eibach website is no help, email wasn't much better; got me a "ticket reference form" ???
Just wanted to see if anyone is familiar with Eibach Part No.E10-82-004-02-22 Is that still effective?
I'm ready to order but don't want to use a discontinued or wrong item # code
Any replies greatly appreciated. Hopefully the info will help all RX forum members
Thanks
Hary
Go figure, Eibach says they have no listings for 07 AWD RX350 and to look into H&R or Tein
My return request was if they are still making Part No.E10-82-004-022
Then I got this; “I did some digging on that kit and it appears it has either been discontinued or is no longer offered in the USA. I dont show any shipping history on this kit for the last several years. That one may be difficult to track down.”
One thing I should say is that depending on your RX your car may have 15mm (19mm hex head) or 17mm (22mm hex head - like front) strut holes for the rear struts. All aftermarket 2008-2009 RX350 rear struts have the larger 17mm hole for some reason, which will allow for major positive camber if the knuckle isn't pushed in before tightening. All RX330 and 2004-2007 Highlander rear struts are 15mm. My '08 RX came with the 15mm bolts, struts and knuckles. I'm not sure if this is a USA RX350 thing, but I just think it may be "luck of the draw". I eventually got the newer style 2008-2013 Highlander / Venza knuckles and bolts to upsize to the larger 17mm size which now allows for some rear camber adjustment. If your car has the 17mm bolts and you want Highlander struts, you would have to either switch to the 15mm bolts or drill out the struts to 17mm. On my Highlander I have the newer style knuckles w/ 17mm holes and 15mm bolts and it has been fine for years.
