Life would of gone on without any issues, right?

Until it starts making a mess on your garage floor (it may never), just drive and enjoy your Lexus and save your money for repairs that actually affect the driveability of the vehicle.
Brakes, exhaust, tires, shocks are all things to worry about rather than this issue.

As far as the service adviser saying the engine could seize, it’s their job to scare potential victims into spending money, no reputable mechanic would tell you such malarkey.
Thanks a lot for your advice!

absolutely. once dealer suggested to change the trans seal, next visit they suggested to replace trans since it has a sign of coolant leak (hybrid transmission). I didn't do anything and had no issues after that - probably, signs of coolant remained after the inverter warranty replacement by the first owner.

I see nothing "urgent' here. Relax. Drive the car. Check the oil every day if you makes you feel better. Look under the car for a puddle, if it makes you feel good.

Keep an eye on the oil level and, over time and miles, gauge how "severe" the leak really is.

I also have an 2009, with just 57K miles. Our cars are 15 years old (they were built in late 2008.) They're old. Can't expect them to be perfectly dry underneath.

[QUOTE=Chaiya1;11486170]Yes, I have photos from the dealer. I have attached two photos to this reply. Please check the attached photos and please let me know what you think. The first photo is where it's leaking from (He said that it's leaking from the rear crank seal. The second photo shows the oil on the lower shield). I am really struggling with this decision. It's a lot of money to replace the RMS and my car is a 2009 RX350 so, 14 years old. Should I do the repair or should I just monitor the oil level? The other idea I had was asking the dealer if they could use more viscous oil or have them put in Auto-Rx both of which I see mentioned on this Lexus forum.
I for sure wouldn't add any chemicals to the engine oil or use a thicker oil. Have a look at the oil passages/gallies & how far the oil has to go from the oil pump pickup to the vvti cam phazers on a 2gr. As that'll compound your problems when the cam phazers start rattling on start up. Our rx had a oil leak issue & I asked my wife, if she wanted to fix/repair it, & she said she wants to keep it, so I dropped it off at Gregs Japanese auto, thinking that it'd need the t/c reseal, turned out to be the p/s pump which I replaced a few yrs earlier. I knew about the p/s pump, rack & t/c sealant are the major issues w/ these vehiches. I will add that you could sell your rx for some decent money, but then look at the price of used vehicles. Just to add, looked at a few new 4runners, & Toyota dealers don;t have markups on them vs other manufacrure dealers. Ford & a few Jeep dealers had markups. No markups on the GMC Sierra trucks either.

Thanks for the information. That's good advice with the PCV Valve.
