2008 RX 400h won’t start unless headlights are off
My lights have always been set to Auto. Another driver changed the headlight settings and now the car won’t start unless the lights are set to Off. I’ve also tried with the fog lights on and off and the problem persists. I’d really like to go back to Auto and not need to turn the lights off every time I start the car. A forum and Google search haven’t helped. Has anyone else run in to this problem?

When you say, "car wont start unless...:, are you saying it won't go from Hybrid to gas engine or are you saying car won't do anything at all.

All (or most) of the dash lights are on, including warning lights but cannot shift into reverse to leave the garage. The gasoline engine won't start even if I turn the heat to max which usually will cause it to kick on.
