I've been playing with the media system in my RX400h.

If I put a DVD into the 6 disk stereo system, the DVD automatically plays and I can hear the audio through the speakers, but there is no image displayed on the NAVI screen.

I'm testing this with just the ignition on and the car parked.

The NAVI screen is fully operational for everything else - e.g. sat nav.

Any ideas what it could be? Maybe a disconnected cable that links the stereo to the NAVI?

Is the front NAVI linked to the rear media system - e.g. a DVD played on the stereo will show up on the rear screens?

I didn't realise the full handbrake/footbrake needs to be active to unlock the NAVI DVD display.
