Default Oil Pan leaking after sealing pan twice!

Hey all. 2006 Lexus RX 330 owner here.
It started having an oil leak from the engine oil pan, confirmed by 2 different mechanics.
I went to my friend who is a mechanic at a shop and we pulled the pan, scraped the old FIPG pan sealer off, thoroughly cleaned the mating surface on the pan itself and the car, the used FIPG and bolted it up within 10 min, then added oil almost immediately after and I drove the 60 minutes home. It began leaking after I parked and got to be a pretty significant leak.

Today, I drove back to my buddies shop, we confirmed it was leaking at the back of the pan, so we pulled it, super duper cleaned the mating surfaces with a sanding wheel and handheld scraper, then applied Toyota FIPG, put it back on, bolted it up within 10 min, waited 2 hours this time to add oil, started it up and didn't see any leaks, sprayed the underside with brake cleaner and sent me on my way shortly after.

After parking in my driveway from the hour long drive, I can see oil leaks that appear to be coming from the oil pan again...I am so frustrated.

Does FIPG need more time before running to harden? I thought this stuff was good to go after about 2 hours of application for oil pans?

This picture is from just before I left this morning to redo the seal for the second time, which is a week of sitting and leaking.

I don't see a picture.

I wait 12+ hours before I start the engine just to be sure. Are you certain the leak is where you think it is?

FIPG has an expiration date. Plus, don't like the sound of "sander", could scratch the surfaces maybe. Do it yourself at home with jackstands, clean with break cleaner and rags, and torque bolts by hand to spec, get the bead thickness right on FIPG, and let it sit overnight, use non expired FIPG.

Dropped my oil pan a couple years ago just for fun and to have a look.

I didn't have the confidence to make an all FPIG gasket so I cheated. lol

So what I did was went I to the auto part store and bought the oil pan gasket and it was made of black rubber.
Then I used a very thin smear of the FPIG -only to stick the gasket to the oil pan cover for easy installation- and let it dry.

Next, I installed and snugged up the pan and wham bam , thank you ma'am, done!
