I'm facing a issue with my 2006 Lexus RX350, and I'm hoping you can lend a hand in troubleshooting. The car runs good, no check engine light.. However, when I turn off the engine and let it sit for about 10 minutes, restarting becomes quite a challenge. It takes 3-4 attempts before the engine finally roars to life, , I'm noticing a smell of fuel fumes during the start-up process. If the car is stop for long enough it starts in first try. This has been like this for about two years and the symptoms has not got worse or better. I have replaced the fuel pump and the fuel rail with no luck. Any idea what could be the problem?

Sounds like an electrical issue with ignition.
0) Scan for misfires.
1) When were the spark plugs last change, and were they legit and not fakes?
2) How many miles?
Heat soak can mess with coils too, though Toyota's seem pretty robust. Could be bad wire to coil common grounds or hot, or at ECU plug.
