I thought mine was bad until I saw this:

HOLY SMOKES! Trans is a little smoother! I bet you’d be able to tell more without a CVT
Like my car, the rest of the mounts were fine. Have you guys had similar experiences with your 2nd gen RXs? Let me know!

Definitely! It was totally rotten, the boot was ripped which didn’t help either

Mine weren't that bad.
But I had to cut the engine mount off to do the control arms.
Waiting on that mount to come in right now.
Good times.

Looks like a fine example of some delayed maintenance. Haha
Yeah, that mount is spent! Lol

Chapp: Mine seized into the mount too! Thankfully I was about to get it off after removing the bracket off the engine and some heat and hammer strikes!
Margate330: Indeed! This poor 400h was mostly original but we're finally tearing into it and removing all the "cancer"!

For sure! So far we replaced all four struts with Sachs, I also made all the interior and exterior lights LED like my car so much of the same thing. I am going to add a heated steering wheel to it one day like me, and will definitely document it again and make another DIY.

I couldn't get to the bottom bracket bolt as it was seized in the bracket.

Chapp: Oh, I see!
Hugo: I got it used from a 2011 Lexus ES350. The V6 and i4 cars get different numbers (V6 prob stiffer). You have to grind a top locating tap off for it to fit

Matt: Yeah, for real I think the mount would've still been good otherwise.
Oh well. I went with a oem from toyota dealer. Got it for 160 and some change. Not too bad I guess.
I really had to fight and off and on to get the mount and bracket back on. It was a major PIA.
Also, I blew out the power steering reservoir and must of ordered a made in USA /Canada one.
Mine is made in Japan. I just got a longer hose and made it work.
The job, while straight forward ended up being a major pain. I guess i"m glad the power steering res failed on a fix rather than the road.
