I also have the ticking inside. I thought it was the engine, but I can't hear it when outside the car, only when I am inside. If it was the fuel injector - it would seem you could hear it from outside the car (with the hood up). The noise is not a rattle - but I have not yet asked the dealer to check it out. I don't have any of the other issues noted on this forum, even though my VIN is in the range of several TSBs.

I am not wild about the idea of having the dash removed to fx this issue - so can anyone verify that it is the fuel injector?

 

I have an intermittent buzzing sound from the front dash. The noise is present at low speeds. I have taken the car back to the dealership 4 times to have them try to fix it. So far they have added insulation to the dash and moonroof. They also re-tightened the exhaust heat shields. According to the dealer, this problem is prevalent in early RX330’s. This last time they told me they finally found out the problem… not enough insulation or missing insulation on the AC hoses going through the firewall. We will see if this fixes the problem.
