2007 RX350 AC not blowing cold air
Hello,
During winter my 2007 RX350 alternator went bad and had to get it towed to the nearest repair shop. I normally try to do most of the maintaince on my own or take it to a trusted mechanic (Car Care Nut), but since it was winter and had a breakdown in the mddle of the road, i had to take it to some random mechanic. Anyways now when I try to turn on the AC i dont hear the comprerssor engaging. I check the freon level and its in the range so no leaks. I did order a new relay (90084-98032) but wondering if there could be some else. Any other idea what i should be testing?

I would be checking if the A/C wires are connected down on the A/C compressor itself. Those are very close to the alternator and I forget, but maybe they need to be disconnected to make room to remove the alternator, or get yanked during the process. I believe they are on the same wiring harness branch off the main engine harness up top.
