Battery is a month old and has never died, car has drove (and sat) quite a lot since the issue started, so I think a charging problem is very unlikely. ill let you guys know tomorrow

Not charging issue, if the battery is low on voltage (even new batteries can be low on voltage) this can throw phantom warning lights it is very common, Start there then run codes

I keep a battery voltage indicator plugged into my cigarette lighter at all times.

Tells me my battery voltage and has two USB plugs.

Only $10 at local auto parts store, I love seeing my battery voltage all the time.

We can only guess.
But this might be something as simple as a vacuum leak. Or you could have a dead spider stuck on the MAF sensor wire.

Yeah, the first thing is to get the codes.
