Uh-oh cr4p i think i broke it, CV Axle replacement question
Is this axle seal removable (front drivers side) 2006 RX 330 2wd
I am trying to get it out and it's just coming off in chunks. Then i noticed metal shining through and I'm wondering if this is permanently pressed in or something?
What's the replacement part? I have a purchased ATP RO80 OEM / Interchange Numbers: 9031150029
is that correct?
Thank you

Don't panic, all seals are replaceable, just try to get it out without scratching the transaxle, if you do, add a smear (very small) of RTV to it when putting in the new seal. Tip, if new seal has a spring, put some grease(or assembly lube) on it before tapping it in so it doesn't inadvertently pop off...

Thank you mesquite and mattrx.
I was braver and used a crowbar to leverage it out.
:: boing :: it popped right out and spit the spring comically.
finished up the job and came back to say thanks, she's back on the road.

If you haven't finished this, are you using a seal puller?
They work wonders.
