Default Check for odometer reset

Hello everyone,
I bought 2004 Lexus RX330 a month ago. I had some doubt about odometer being tempered because of car history so i decided to get mini vci cable and check for live data. But i found no metric like "Total distance driven" or something like that. I checked all the units. Is it normal or is it because I am using mini vci and pirated software?

Engine and ECT live data

All available ECUs

Welcome to Club Lexus and your 1st post!

As far as I know, the mileage is stored in the speedo cluster.
If true it can be reset.

However, I'd be very curious to know if you find a discrepancy in the program you're running.

It would be awesome if "real mileage" is saved in the engine Ecm and tech stream can see it

i checked all available control units. I didnt see any milage related reading so not sure. It could be the cable or back then cars didnt store that data on other units.

As far as IK the cluster is the only one the reads the odometer. Possibly a quick look thru carfax to confirm the different records to give you a better idea. The typical wear points, pedals, s/w, left seat bolster, as well as the condition of the rest of the vehicle.

I think you're right.
Hear that someone but can't remember where.

I bought an eBay salvage cluster for cheap because I intended to dig in and see what I can find and make a thread on this very subject.

It's around here somewhere, I just haven't had time.
I think the mileage is in the eeprom.
