2gr-fe lifter stuck

2gr-fe lifter stuck
I have an 09 rx350, just did a lot of work to it, then I found a pretty substantial knock in the topend. people said the lifters stick if you don't do proper oil changes so I figured that was my problem. tried flushes, tried atf in the crankcase, still it knocks.
pulled the valve cover(luckily it is on the exposed one), one lifter will not extend and the rocker arm is loose under the cam. I took a video, it's upside down and not great but none of the other ones are that loose so I suspect that's the problem child

pulled the lifter(don't ask, I know I shouldn't have done what I did to get it out). I have never messed with toyota lifters, but I assume there's a spring inside and a cavity for fluid - maybe a check ball. if there a way to open it up, clean it and reassemble like other brands? should I just buy a new one? should I throw it in a vice and force it? it could be gunked up oil, it could have sucked up some trash from the work I did for all I know. what are my options? I really want to take it apart and at least see if cleaning it will fix it. it's just metal parts and they should be ok - nothing looks broken

Buy a new one even though they are quite expensive. Supposedly there are two types but they have the same part number? Maybe someone knows more about this. Assuming this picture is accurate it looks like yours

Don't buy from that company they happen to have a good picture of the part.
....almost forgot you obviously need this

Maybe the part is out of production? Likely can find what you need on Ebay or try here

at first he said I needed to buy them all at once(24) so they match, then he said there were two different types, I had the old one in my hand and asked to see them both to just get the one that matched what I had, he said he couldn't
edit: just got a used set on ebay, soaked in cleaner, will pick the one with the most movement and run it
edit2: with the replacement lifter in place, the rocker was still loose - the valve stem cap is missing. there's a little piece of metal that covers the top of the valve stem. like I said, I just did a lot of work to this, when I put the head back together I tried to be as careful as possible putting it back together but maybe I did miss that one valve cap. I looked all over the head, ran a borascope down the head drains, and I pulled the oil pan - I can't find it. I don't like it, but just going to order another cap(hoping part # 13716 works) and if I can't find the missing one, I'll just run it and hope for the best

I'd figure out the difference of the upgraded/improved lifter.

There are two types, parts listing implies A is 13801-0P010. How to get type B if you need that don't know 2GR is not my specialty.
