Damp/wet Carpet- rear seat footwell
Just had our first REALLY good rain since I picked up my new to me 05 a couple weeks ago
n't inspect
Decided to feel around floorboards to check for leaks
this is looking into rear seat well, both R&L side are wet close to the front seat track- near the door sill
Left circle was not wet this time but seems it has been at some point-maybe you van make out the discoloration
Rear floor board had a large 1 piece carpeted mat across it when I looked at car- so didn't inspect it quite close enough
Looking for insights
Front sunroof drains or the rear ones ?????
Would seen like if front- then it should likely be wet (those drains go down the "A" pillars right?
If rears- do the drain lines go down pillar between front and back door(where front seat belt is) or do they go out toward rear hatch?
Insights/guidance welcome

Pole Position
The rear drains go down the C-pillars. The front carpet is dry?

If front is dry then check the welds along the C-pillars with the hatch open - those are known to fail over time and act like a channel into the rear well. Some silicone will solve it.
