I would certainly think a little bit about the ML 350.
Perhaps, get the cramp third row seat option (for the once in the blue moon use).
We recently sold our minivan and sometimes i really missed that
old clunker. I got pressed into driving duties several times at school
because my wife's RX300 would only take 3 kids safely in the back.
Also, the RX300 is sort of loud (with a wind noise).
However, it is incredibly quiet compared to my old minivan.
Should have gotten the GX470. (it is considerably more expensive than the ML, though).
By the way, how is the weather in the idyllic Land of Lincoln...
Spent the coldest 7 years of my life there.
