Question on RSES in RX330
Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum, but I'm looking for people who have experience with the RSES DVD in the RX330.
I just took a road trip and it was the first time I have watched a movie from the back seat. And I'm wondering why widescreen DVD's don't fill out the LCD screen. There's about a 3/4 inch to 1-inch empty black space on the top and bottom of the movie for widescreen DVD's.
Is this the case for everyone else? I haven't tried regular full screen DVD's yet, but judging by the shape of the LCD screen, it doesn't seem like full screens would fill out the whole space either.
Thanks for your help!!

The aspect ratio of wide screen displays are 16x9(1.78:1). The aspect ratio of some DVD movie are 2.35:1 . Thus the black bars on the top and bottom. Some DVD's, "Finding Nemo", "Monsters Inc" come to mind, are 1.78:1 so they fit perfectly, no top and bottom black bars, on 16x9 widescreen displays.
