Cool, thanks guys

I would NEVER buy an oil filter on eBay. What is wrong with your local auto parts store? I use Wix, from NAPA stores, for all of my oil filter needs.

Took the little woman's RX330 to Champion Toyota for the 50K checkup/oil change.
$44.11 was the total, but I have a friend that works there.

You lucky dog! $45 for a 50K check up, including an oil change! Take him-her out to dinner!

I think $50 for oil change is reasonable for rx330. It does require little more work, since you have to remove all the plastic b4 u can remove the filter. I do it myself, and it doesn't add that much more time, but I think it should cost more than other cars that you can access the filter/oil pan more easily.

I change every 10k using full syn - (wait for sales 2for 1 or rebate) about $13 for 5 qt when on sale.
PureOne (Wix or Mobil 1is good too). - I also buy these on 2for 1 sales at pepboys. - $3

Does everyone use 5 qt of 5w30? I found 4.5 qt works best. Not sure why.

Why, what happens if you drop 5 Qts?

I always use 4.7 litres (5 US qt) when changing the oil with new filter as per the owner's manual..

I do find it is a bit high but then again after 4700 miles I don't have to add any, thats with 100,000 miles on the clock.

ideal oil level is about 3/4 between low and full. Overfill is bad for the engine and acutally reduces mileage slightly.

I took mine to my local Lexus mechanic and he charged me $23.49 for labor and filter. I brought the Mobil 1 oil.

I recently had the Oil change done at a Toyota dealer
which included
1) Change Oil & Filter
2) Rotate Tires
3) Adjust Tire pressure
4) Check and top off Under hood fluids
5) Inspect belt & hoses
& a free car wash

: All for $39.95 , while I waited in the service lounge which had Computer Kiosks with Internet or free wifi for your own computer, Donuts/Bagels/Coffee etc.

If I had it done at Lexus just the tire rotation was $60
oil change only was $75

Default 10 K maintenance for $43.34 @ Toyota Dealer

I also had the 10K miles maintenance at a Toyota dealer for my RX350 today which included
Change Oil & Filter
Rotate Tires which included the spare tire as part of rotation (Most of the Lexus dealers do not do this)
Adjust Tire pressure on all 5 tires
50 point check list (Interior/Exterior,Under Vehicle,Under hood,Battery terminals)
Inspect Brakes, belt & hoses
a free car wash (Not machine car wash had to wait for 45 minutes)

made sure the following parts were used:
Oil Filter:
Part# 04152-YZZA1
Air Filter:
Part# 17801-0H010

Total was $43.34 after Time spent was 1 hour 50 minutes, Not bad

Service History on Lexus website already updated as "Owner Reported", since I was not sure if Lexus will get Service History from a Toyota Dealer though Lexus and Toyota belong to the same parent Company TMNA.

Where did you report the service history?

Does the Lexus Owner website give you this option?

I do this on the Acura Owner's website....update all service done and major events.

I have updated this poll to include free to $19, reason being that I have heard from a colleague in another part of the world about receiving a free oil change at their dealership for the RX330.
