I just discovered a problem with my new RX330 that is driving me nuts. When all the windows are rolled up and the sunroof is open a harmonic wave occurs over your head that sounds like a helicopter. If you open one of the front windows the noise disappears. The harmonic wave is so severe that it will give you a headache is 1-2 minutes. Has anyone experienced such a problem and what was done to resolve the problem.

the problem you're experiencing is common on many vehicles with sunroofs. If you use the auto function to open the roof, it will stop about 2 inches short of full-open. According to the owner's manual, that is supposed to cut down on the noise.

The noise should also go away if you open one of the rear windows, which is much less annoying than the front windows (unless it happens to be a beautiful day).

Thanks to all for your information. I guess I will have to live with the sunroof resonance "feature"
