hey guys

i posted this on the tire forum as well, but would really like to know what my fellow RX owners think of this rim. it has a nice lip and is silver (not into the chrome/bling-bling). it runs around $2200 w/tires (255/35ZR20). hoping it wont affect the ride quality too much either. whats your opinions?

 

I think those rims would look sharp on the 330; I'm very much not into the bling also. I'm also in the market for rims; can't seem to find any I like. What I really want are the stock graphite polished 18's! The dealer wants $465 PER RIM, NO TIRES!?!

I think they look good. I'm not into chrome, but the style too me is actually close to the stock 18" 5 spoke rims but with a little flair. It is not too flashy but not too stock looking either.

 

i dont like chrome either. i would get them in the silver. im just worried with the 35 series tires, the ride might be shot. i really like the ride of my 18s now...so ill have to really think about this.

 

I think it looks very sharp. The style is similar to stock so passer-bys might think you got a genuine Lexus upgrade. Does the center cap size match the Lexus cap's?

255 might be too wide. Perhaps you want to give Lexus a call to make sure the tire won't scrub the wheel well.

agree - those look very similar to OEM chromes - I have the chromes and love em

 

oooh, very nice..it's like the stock rims, but with a little kick!

 

I had the factory rim chromed. Out of all the things on the car, I get more compliments on the wheels being chromed. On black, I would not have anything else. On Silver, I would rather have the factory look.

my truck is black...but im still not sure if i want them since the 35 series tires might mess up the ride quality too much. i could have had the chrome stock 18s for $1200, but opted for the silver, which i still like. but i do think these rims would definitely make the ride look even better. basically, im analyzing the ride quality, figuring out what the pros and cons are, and seeing if it is the right thing to purchase at this particular time.
