I am thinking of replacing my RX300 stock wheel/tire with the RX330's polished graphite wheel with 18 inch tires. The question is how much unsprung weight am I adding onto this car?

based on my searches on this board, the stock set up is about 46 lbs for a tire/wheel combo. I wonder what the tire/wheel weight might be for the 18 inchers.

Anyone have any idea?

I'd call Lexus customer service.

Or visit my local Lexus dealer and take my bathroom scale with me. Find an RX330 with 18" wheel, and ask them to remove the full-size spare so I can weigh it. I am sure they'd accommodate.

I am going to wait till the weekend and see if some has this figure. If not, I may just have to do what you are suggesting.
