Just kidding. If you prefer something that goes well in the snow, the AWD RX would probably be a good choice. I am not sure about the styling on the GX. I've heard a lot of mixed opinions as to its looks.

I'd say you should go for a RX.

It all depends what you want. Neither a RX or a GX are a BMW. The RX and GX are two completely different vehicles. My wife drives a RX and I have an LX. One is a luxurious TRUCK the other is basically a CAR on an all wheel drive platform. I think you have to drive both and decide what you like. Neither vehicle was designed to handle like a BMW.

 

You know what, since you posted the question of buying an RX or a GX, Most likely, most people in this forum will say to drive the RX, because this is a RX forum and I believe mostly everyone have an RX in this forum. But if you post the same question in the GX forum. Most likey the same thing will happen over there, where most people will say to get the GX.

My best advice for you is to go and Check it out at the Dealership, and test drive both of them. Check out the color options and packages that fits your budget and desire. Here at my house, i have both the GX and the RX. The GX belongs to my father and the RX is mine.

Both GX and RX are good SUV's. You're going to have to do the homework and compare and contrast both vehicle. Then ask yourself which one fits you best. Follow your instincts. You can't really go by the opinion of other people becuase each person have their own taste, and I know you have your own taste too. -Good Luck
