is this a good deal for 2005 RX330
Hi
My father is looking to purchase a 2005 RX330, we went to dealer today try to dicuss a deal. Since this will be the third lexus we purchase from this dealer, the dealer offered us a price 41800 for a 2005 silver and black interior RX330 with prem plus and nav ( the MSRP is about 44800). Therefore it is about three thoudsand off for an old customer. So my question is that do u guys think this is good deal for a 2005 model( I think it is )??? because apparently my father think we can get even cheaper price for a 2005.....By the way what were the price u guys paying for for 2004 model with the exact same package(not inculde last month, since lexus were doing a huge discount for theilr 04 model last month)...
Any help or suggestion will be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!!

Go to www.edmunds.com and find out the TMV (true market value) and the invoice price. Then negotiate up from the invoice price. Expect to pay somewhere around the tmv.

I think the pkg you're talking about on an 04 would retail for $44,288. You can build an 05 on the lexus website now as well.
I think that's a pretty darn good deal for an 05 ... but then again around here I couldn't get close to that b/c there's a dealer monopoly in the area.

Thanks for ur reply, we finally settled the car for 41550. The car we got is a Millennium silver /black interior 2005 RX330 with prem plus and navigation packages. But i am not sure when we will be getting the car though since we were told by the sales man, the 2005 model can come in as early as the end of this month or as late as the first week of the Oct. I have heard some of u have already seen 2005 in ur local lexus dealers, so where do u guys live. It seem like no dealers here in north jersey have any 05 models yet.....
Thanks again for the reply!

I haven't seen any here (Lincoln OR Omaha, Nebraska) yet, but have seen a few 04s come with different packages than before (ie Tow Hitches). I was told that the dealers here expect them within the next week or so.

I actually saw a 05 last week with nav the selection of colors varies depending on the dealership. I saw one with the bluetooth and it has controls on the steering wheel. They are the same except the bluetooth feature I was not able to see the nav because they had not hooked up the wiring for the electrical yet. It was just off the truck. There are about 3 dealerships here in california that I know for a fact have them in stock. Maybe you could have the car shipped to you from one of the dealerships here.
