1 mo old 330, so still learning the car...forgive me if the answer is obvious, just can't find it in the manual or in a forum search.

OK, turning on the RDS feature is straightforward, and the radio goes into search mode f/stations in the category selected (plenty to find here on LI,NY.)
It then can set all the RDS presets accordingly, which is fine.

However, when turning RDS off and going back to the standard presets and then later turning RDS back on, it starts a RDS search all over again and replaces the preset programmed into the #1 preset button and so on. Strange.

My question : is there any way to re enter RDS mode without it performing another search ? ( and leaving the presets intact) Thanks

I believe there are three modes for the FM button. FM, FM1,FM2. Where FM retains all the presets from the last RDS search function. Although I could be wrong. I don't listen to radio very often. Too much talk, not enough music.
