HELP. Remote won't open rear cargo door
Bought 2004 RX-330 last month.
Dealer installed a self starter but lost the second primary key.
They replaced it, when I got home I realized that the button for the rear power gate would not work.
Does anyone know how to re-program these keys?
Thanks

Is the problem with all of the buttons on the key or just the back door?
Normally, if one works (for example, you can lock or unlock doors), then all buttons should work. There isn't any process to register the key for the back door itself.
If none of the buttons work, then you've got to register the key's ID with the computer. The process is 4 pages long in the service manual! I'd go back to the dealer and have them do it. (It's a LOT easier using the dealer's OBD computer.)
If the door button is the only problem, then there's something wrong with either the door or that particular button. Try the door button on the other key, and see if it works. Also, try the door button on the dash and make sure it operates correctly. If it's not working at all, ensure that someone didn't accidentally disable the power back door using the button inside the frame of the glovebox. If the door is working fine from the dash and the other key, you might have a problem with the the 2nd key other than mere registration.
