Default maximum speed @110 miles

Does anyone notice that the maximum speed for RX330 is @ 110 miles per hour, after that the car will cut off the gas and wouldnt go further than 110. Is there a by-pass related to the cut off limit @110??

same for the 300, i used to hit that limiter very often, but dont do enough long distant driving now. Asked if any chip that can bypass that and got no answers before.

There is no bypass for the speed limiter. Because it's an SUV, there's no purpose to go faster than 110. It's usually a fuel cut so you can't go past 110 which is why you slow down then speed back up. Most SUV's are limited to only 100mph because of 1) their size and 2) their handling dynamic. No reason to drive past 110 with a high profile type of vehicle.

You are definitely wrong flipside909. GX can go up to 130 miles per hour.

TTE do their V-Max kit for the RX300. Should work in US models

I am pretty sure that HKS had a device to eliminate the the 112 mph (somewhere I read this) barrier, and Greddy may have one. Hooks in to your ECM/ECU.

It's Apex. It's called the Rev Speed Meter. It doesn't just connect to the ECU. No Toyota/Lexus ECU has a chip or plug in upgrade. You have to tap into your wiring.
