Question Coinholder

I've seen a coinholder that looks like it snaps into the driver's (door) armrest grip recess. I think it was on a JDM site, or a vendor who had access. I seem to recall it was just a plastic tray with a clip that would hold quarters, dimes, nickles & pennies. I also seem to remember it was pretty pricy - for a piece of plastic. I'm still looking . . .

The daughter.edu bought me a coin holder gizmo for Christmas. Cylider shape deal with slots for .10, .05, .25 coins. I stuck it in that stupid cup holder on the far left side that pops out from the dash. It ain't great - but it works I guess. Never understood that dumb cup holder over there anyway. I'm not left handed and I'm not coordinated enough grab a cup of coffee with that hand while driving and talking on my cell phone.

I would say that the complete lack of "cubby" holes around the front seat area in this car is by far my biggest complaint!! I had jurry-rigged some modified plastic bins, cup holders, etc in my '00 RX too. Drives me crazy!!!!

Cool

I did a web search for coin purses and came across several Australian websites that sold small purses made from kangaroo ********. The medium or large size is perfect for holding change and fits easily into the overhead sunglass holder.

Yeah, with the AC on it turns my coffee to tepid gunk in about three minutes. What were they thinking when they put it right in front of that big AC vent??? If I want my coffee cooled, I'll blow on it myself, thank you!

Default Coin holder

For us cheepskates out there, a tuna fish can will fit into the center console cup holder and works good as a coin holder.

I'd recommend a very thorough washing first.

Default Coin Holder Solution

I like many RX330/400 owners pull my hair out every day with the lack of a coin holder. I have a "toll tag" but still find myself needing change everyday, (Anyone addicted to Starbucks drive through windows surely know where I'm coming from). It's a vicious circle without a coin holder you just acquire more change!

It's taken 8 months but I finally decided to search the internet for a solution... here's the best I could come up with (see attachment). At $19.00 bucks it's worth a shot, (It also beats an old tuna can in your cup holder!) I'm going to order it today and see how it works.

Appears by the measurements on the web site it should be a perfect fit. Here is the link: http://www.brandsport.com/aschcupformo.html
