Our RX 330 is 2 years old. We love it, but on every service I have complained about the inefficiency of the rear window wiper --- it left a 2" wide smeary streak across the top of its track. I have noticed the same on other RX 330's I have passed, or that have passed me on the highways. The dealership willingly replaced the wiper blade filler on a couple occasions, but that did not help. On my last service visit, I made my usual complaint, and the Tech says, "Oh yes, we have a bulletin on that." Under the bulletin, the entire blade mechanism (arm and filler) were replaced. The results were a 100% improvement at cleaning the rear window.
Those of you driving RX 330s on salted roads may wish to take advantage of this bulletin.

Ha! Not really ever look on alldata.com and look at some for Fords and chevys--100's
Every vehicle will have TSB's, as they are just little fixes that us consumers complain about. If we had tons of Recalls---now that is a differant story

Are you forgetting about the RECALLS for the radiator, the brake light switch, and the brake booster? I had them all fixed at my last service visit. I also complained about the rear wiper, and mentioned the TSIB, but it looks like all they did was replace the insert.

A bit off topic, but to clarify the last issue...
The radiator recall affects only the first 18,000 units made in Canada for MY 2004. Lexus got a bad batch of radiators that cracked in cold weather.
The brake light switch recall affects just about all MY 2004 units from both Japan and Canada, as well as the Toyota Prius. The switch has shown evidence of corrosion and failure on cars sold in Japan, but there are no reports of failures in the U.S.
The brake booster is not a recall, though the U.S. NHTSA is investigating consumer complaints to see if a recall is warranted. That also seems to be related to cold weather, though details are sketchy.

Well, I tried. I think I'll try again in a few months. Our RX went into service today for the brake light switch recall. While there, I told my wife to tell them the rear wiper streaks a lot and doesn't clean well thinking they would do the TSIB fix. I was wrong. The repaced the wiper blade insert at a cost of $4.99 to us. I don't feel too bad as our car did get a free safety inspection that would have cost us $20 anyway. For those that don't know, in Hawaii we have to get an anual safety inspection and when passed we get a safety inspection sticker. This cost about $15-$20 depending on the station you go to. So, we ended up saving money over all. But still, I want that new wiper arm
I'll try again at the next service date.

Forgot about that one, CK6Speed!
The first 12,000 RX330's made in Japan prior to the U.S. launch got recalled to change the catalytic converter. Something inside the converter was made wrong, which caused the exhaust system to make noise.
While on the subject of recalls, here are the other two that I've found:
- Owners of LexusLink that no longer wish to pay for the service may have their LexusLink system removed. LexusLink is based on analog cellular telephone technology, which will be dead in the U.S. in 2008. It cannot be upgraded to a digital phone technology.
- A very small number of the first Generation 4 navigation DVD's on 2005 RX330's are being recalled due to data errors on the disc. The disc is being replaced at no charge through December 31, 2005.
