Default rx330 rear seat question

on the rx330. the rear seats have three sections? like a 40/20/40 split seat. and you can fold down any seat back ?
my idea is to build a custom system that starts from the back of the hatch area and goes through the center rear seats and into the front console. the lease is up on my 02' RX and im trying to figure out what i want next.
also do the rear seats come out in two pieces or three. if they were to be removed from the truck.
if anyone can provide me with pictures that would be great.

No - it's a 60 / 40 split. 60 on the seat behind the front passenger (right hand side).

Not sure how many pieces make up the assemblies.

You're both right! The back of the seat splits 40-20-40, the bottom 40-60; meaning that the center section of the back seat slides back and forth with the passenger's side, while the backs fold independently. The center of the back seat folds down as an armrest, too.

Like your 300 DJ, the backs on either side recline (but the center section, since it locks to the passenger's side seatback can only assume its angle). The bottom of the seat travels back and forth like the 300 as well, perhaps a bit further, better utilizing the slightly increased legroom.

Red face Both of you are right

the top part is 40/20/40 however, the bottom part that you would have to remove for whatever reason is 60/40
