Default Adding Voice Activation and XM radio

First, sorry if this has been posted before but I have used the search and I couldn't come up with anything. I want to know if you can add XM radio to the RX330. I'm not talking about FM Modulated but something that can be controlled from the radio (like in my Audi). Also I heard the new 05 RX330's have Voice Activation, does any one know what parts would be needed to do this conversion on an '04 (if it can even be done)? Thanks alot.

The voice activation sucks; if it only costs a dollar to add, it's not worth it. But the bluetooth handsfree for the cell phone is nice.

How do you add the bluetooth? I think that would benefit my mom greatly (if she ever gets a bluetooth phone). I would still like info on the voice activation though.

I have no idea how you'd add bluetooth. I can tell you from personal experience that the voice activation, which is extremely limited, does not work well at all. Why do I need to hit a voice button and say FM2 to get the radio on FM2 when I can hit a radio button twice or the mode button several times. The only time it's helpful, and then 9 times out of 9.2 it doesn't do what you ask, is when you're on a map screen and want to see icons for gas stations, bank ATMs, food, etc. It just flat doesn't work well enough to even bother with it, especially since the majority of the stuff you can do is another easy button push or two.

Adding the XM radio can be done just visit....www.vaistech.com...they have the solution but it's a little pricey..im currently eyeing at getting the one for the added Video and ipod control, but there's one for the xm radio too. in regards to adding bluetooth, it can be done...there's many product on the market right now that will do just that Parrot? or something will do just fine.

Question XM Radio (2005 RX 330)

I saw the post suggesting VAIS for XM Radio. Has anyone installed this and would recommend it? The price for the unit looked reasonable (if it works well). Note: I do have the Nav system on the RX 330.
