Default April 2005 RX sales

Lexus Division light trucks produced a best-ever April with 13,639 units, up 9.6 percent. The RX 400h, the world's first luxury hybrid vehicle, launched April 18 and reported sales of 2,345 units for the month. The RX 330 luxury SUV on which the RX 400h is based, enjoyed best-ever April sales of 10,172 units, an increase of 19.1 percent

So amazingly, Lexus has sold over 2,300 400hs at 50k in basically TWELVE days. That is incredible and seems the waiting list is a very true event and not hype

This also means that Lexus only sold 1,122 GX and LX. I suppose people are steering away from the large SUVs.

Man that's crazy. Can we get a break down on which state/country is purchasing these vehicles?

huh? While people are getting away from big suv's due to high gas prices, GX still sold 2,843 units last month.

That would be ultra proprietary info I don't have access too

The GX sales YTD are still up, the LX is down somewhat, nothing serious, not bad for a 70k SUV that has been out since 1998

Lexus rules. Its hybrid technology ought to further boost its market dominance for years imo..

Total Lexus light truck sales - RX400h sales - RX330 sales = Combined GX & LX sales

13,639 - 2,345 - 10,172 = 1,122

Based on 1SICKLEX's numbers.

someone quoted something wrong in some article there, since GX had 2.8k in sales...
