Hi everybody - I am sure this is a topic that is beat to death around here - current pricing (I figure that as it is over at the acura forums where I spend most my time). My mother has an 02' RX300 that she leased 4 years at 20k miles per year. The lease is not up for another year and a half; however, we are considering buying out and trading it in. It is just time to get a new RX.

I want to get her the RX330 with nav. I am trying to find out what people are generally paying for the car (sale price). I also would like to know what people are paying for leases, 3 years? 4 years? Lastly, how much is the cost for extra miles? I know with Acura it is 10cents per mile if you pay in advance or 15 cents per mile if you go over at the end of the lease.

About a month ago I was involved in an accident (not at fault) that totaled my 05' acura TL. I wanted to jump into the new GS; however, the dealer was simply unwilling to negotiate on prices (I figure they wouldn't - it is afterall a new car which must be a hot seller) so I ended up in an 05' Acura RL. Now that I am done with my random useless information rant, I request any and all information you can provide.

Is that you, Vik!? Sorry, I don't have answers for you, but I recognized the story and the initials in your screen name, so I thought I'd say hello! I didn't realize you hung out over here too.

I don't know if you had a chance to search, but I vaguely remember seeing info on - at least - mileage. I'll let you know if I find it.

I had horrible luck with my local Acura dealer too. I was actually looking at the TSX at the time. I walked into the showroom and I was ignored for about 1/2 hour. After that I asked what, if any, lease promotions they had. I was told for a base TSX $399/month (I pay $480/month for my RX330, MSRP for TSX IIRC isn't above $25,000 and was probably a tad lower) while they had a TSX with just about every option you can think of, including aftermarket wheels, which a sign that said "Lease me $399/month" I then asked the salesperson to make sure that it was $399/month for a base TSX with no options, he confirmed and I walked away.

Yes, it's me. I found some info - varies by leasing company but roughly 15 cents/mile.
