My 1st 08 RX was terrible, Built in Canada. The second one was also built in Canada and is now starting to have some issues. I think Lexus and Toyota are now following the GM and Ford play book on quality. Get the s%#$ out the door. Production numbers vs quality. If their quality continues to drop and they finally feel it in the bottom line (lost sales, increased warranty work) they will have a very difficult climb back as their history is very short and they have no pedigree.

Mine is made Japan 2008 RX350 AWD and is fine except for the suttle dash rattle you can hear with the radio or CD player turned off. Will have this issue addressed soon as I go in for my free 5000 mile oil change.

I believe all RX400h are made at Kyushu. Anyway, there is no place for a 2006 RX400h. Mine was manufactured at Kyushu.

I was told a month ago when purchasing my 09 RX that the only RX besides the RX400 built in Japan is the Brandy Wine.

My 2008 RX 350 car is built in Canada.

When the car is parked in Sunny conditions and its damn hot, I hear some creaking noise when i hit brakes or go over any small to big bumps.

Has anyone had that problem? Should i talk to my dealer about that ?

I've heard the last batch of 09's, starting w/ June/July production, will be manufactured in Japan since the Canadian plant is prepping for the 2010's.

05 RX330 TC edition (Japan). Just head headlights replaced because of condensation. Tranny feels a little strange.
