RX330: Transmission Oil Drain Capacity

Yesterday, my mechanic drained the tranny oil, and topped it up with about 4 quarts of Type-IV. Is this the correct capacity? I had the impression (don't remember from which thread) that it is more than this.

Sorry for the delay.... The drain and fill is 3.8 Qts for FWD and 4.2 for AWD.. Check with engine running after engaging P thru 2 then back to park. There are cold and hot marks on the dip stick.

For AWD the capacity is 16 qts, but you can only drain 4 qts. It is not a good idea to mix non-Toyota ATF with Type IV, especially still under powertrain warranty.

it says right in the service manual the capacity for atf is around 9 liters not 16 quarts!
