Default No Performance Packages on West Coast?

Greetings!
Getting close to buy decision on a 2006 RX330. Local Seattle dealer tells me that the Performance Package option is not available on the West Coast. Really? He didn't really have any explanation as to why. I thought that the Sequential Shift Transmission and Air Suspension might be nice, though.

Thanks for any comments!

What dealer are you working with? I bought my GX from Lexus of Tacoma in Fife. I recall them having the RX330's with the performance package there when I was looking. As a matter of fact I know they had them because we wanted a RX with the performance package, nav, RSES and something else and they couldn't do it because at the time you were unable to combine performance package and nav or something like that. Granted this was back in 2003 so things may have changed. I worked with Steve Armstrong down at Lexus of Tacoma and he was really helpful. If you want to give them a call their # is 253 922 7100. I hope that you can find what you are looking for.

Thanks. I visited Lexus of Seattle in Lynnwood. I'll be going back on Friday to drive again and will ask what's up with the Performance Package.

Can anyone else here verify if something's up with Performance Package availability on 2006 RX330's? Is the Performance Package worth having?

Don"t put much faith in dealers as they don't know what they're talking about.
If your're looking for performance wait until the RX350 comes out within the next 10 monts.

What were the key reasons you chose the Performance Package?

I HATED the wood steering wheel, I loved the differant rims and the auto suspension along with the Auto shift--I use the Auto shilft alot in traffic and when I want to play around.

When you lower the suspension it looks much better too
