Question

Has anyone remove just the cross rails and found that it made a difference? I would think they would give you the most wind noise and wind resistance.

I don't think it looks bad either way with it on or off. I just think it looks more soccer momish with it on

Anyone know which part was purchased for the rubber "filler" strips?

I'm guessing "Lexus OEM Roof Drip Side Finish Moulding Center."

I have removed only the crossbars:

The bars did rattle when I held them and shook it a little, so I'm guessing that they would generate some noise when driving. However, with them off, it did not make a bit of difference in the cabin noise wise, or gas mileage wise.

I do like the subtle difference in look, plus washing the roof is definitely easier without the crossbars...

These are supposed to be the part number for the full 1 piece strip that comes on the panoramic roof RX with no roof racks.

Part Numbers: LH & RH
