I'm using all Alpine touch screen monitors. A D300 touch screen flip out up front and two TME-M770 touch screens in each headrests. Obviously the addition of the aftermarket headunits means it doesn't have the OEM factory look, but as far as video capability it is many times better than any OEM system. For starters it is all touch screen so each position can use their monitor to change input sources and such. I also added an Alpine A/V expansion module that ties everything together to any monitor can have any A/V source. Total I have the DVD headunit as one source, an Alpine DVD changer as another sourcem, and a Sony PS2. The system can also add an Alpine navigation system, reverse camera, and Alpine TV tuner. All these are controlled via the touch screen. If other brands are used they still work, but there would be no trouch screen control. Under the headunit I have an Alpine PXA-H700 suround proccessor. Basically this unit does the usual 5.1 dolby digital and DTS, time alignment, x-over, and parametric or graphic EQ. The one thing I really like about it is it accepts up to 3 fiber optic audio inputs. I'm using fiber optic from the head unit DVD plater and DVD changer.

The dealer where I bought my Lexus had the Audiovox headrests. Here's the support site along with a photo The Model I bought

The dealer wanted $2500.00, I found it online for $1400.00 and spent another $250.00 getting it installed along with the remote start at a local shop.

I have two boys, so I like the fact that they can watch two different movies or the same one, (the two monitors are connected) and thru the front panel you can plug in A/V cables and play a video game. I havent had any problems so far.

I hope this helped some.

P.S. My next item of purchase is the sunvisor monitor (my wife wants one ) - so if anyone has put this in their vehicle, let me know how that worked out for you.
