Hi guys need help with pricing
Hi guys my wife wants a RX330 what should I expect for discounts and actual pricing. Is 2000 above the invoice the right price for a fully loaded RX330? or is that still to much.
Anyone working at a dealership in California feel free to contact me, I am ready to buy. I live in Las Vegas.

Shop Several
dealers. Use the intenet if possilble to avoid an actual conversation where they have the opportunity to run their scams on you. $2000 over invoice is way to much to pay. Your goal should be invoice. Carsdirect.com might get the ball rolling but in addition look up all dealers within say 100 miles and contact them via their internet sales department which most have these days. Try to avoid an actual conversation and get their offer in writing via email as well. Remember to use the term "out the door price" otherwise you will strike what you think is the price and then when you get there you will find a whole list of add ons.
They will act like they are offended that someone would "shop" a Lexus. They will respond that they aren't a Fored dealership and that they don't barter. Its all a ploy, they are as slick as the rest and they will bargin because they have to sell vehicles. Now, you just missed the end of the year opportunity. The best timing nnow might be the end of the first quarter and second best timing might be the end of the month when they are trying to meet sales goals. If you can help not getting a burr under your saddle or gettng in the position where you have to buy right now you can play them along a little longer and it will be one less "tool" they have to use on you. Good luck

Also remember that the dealership also gets a 2% holdback from Lexus when they sell a vehicle. So even if you get the car below dealer invoice, they still are making a nice profit. Of course, the salesperson will claim they don't know anything about the holdback money, no doubt because he doesn't see any of it.

Those sites are both good resources. Simple rule of thumb on a RX330 is that invoice is $5500 less than MSRP (sticker).
You've gotta pay for the Lexus overhead. If you really get invoice - $5500 off sticker - then you've done extremely well. These aren't Fords, or even Toyotas. Look at the dealership you're walking into... it's got much higher overhead than standard nameplates. They have to make something on the sale of the car. That's why service is higher, too.
