Navi help please...
Hello,
I have a 2006 RX330 AWD and I was trying to input entries in the "phone book". For some reason I can't figure out how to do it. Can I only transfer it via bluetooth? Also, for the 1-Touch Dialing, how would I put in names? Right now they only show numbers and when I am driving it doens't show the number so I was hoping it would show at least the name? Thanks!!!

The 2007 RX350 fixes that problem....
as you can enter any name you want and add icons to boot! You can voice dial by number or name. Can't quite trade it in yet? yes I understand.
The only way to get a bloody name into the 2006 RX330 is to transfer it from your phone. You say that you have Verizon? Sorry but they don't allow phone book uploads. Quandary? A small graphic mnemonic device such as a common file card with the numbers (1-5) and (7-18) should do the trick. Simply write the name of each contact for every one touch dial.....Some double sided tape and voila! It certainly beats writing it on your palm....Repetition of at least 5 times will help you take the phone numbers from short term memory in your brain over into long term storage though it is quite expensive......or move from the ubiquitous autocracy of Verizon to some other provider that at least appreciates your business....
There, there now I've said my peace.

Sprint, as flakey as it is ,allows individual contacts to be transferred from my A940 to the car.
It will only take the last of multiple numbers of any name.
The system works, for the most part. I would like voice dialing!!
hopefully the 07 models will work O.K.
I wish there was a retro Fix!!
