Future 2008/2009 RX

funny, i just went through this same self-evaluation as i considered my first lexus....
i've owned sports cars and ride motorcycles so have always resisted the luxury SUV concept.
but serious self reflection steered me towards the RX. my commute is short with lots of traffic lights, a low speed limit and mostly 1 lane. frustrating in a sports car and much more tolerable in an automatic.
when i want my performance motoring fix, i usually hop on a motorcycle.....and we have a Boxster S in the household, too.
so, the ideal daily driver for me is one geared towards comfort and utility, not performace. the RX fit that bill perfectly.
i'm the proud new owner of a CPO '04 RX330 AWD w/navi and a long warranty.

Anyone ever tell you that you can own more than one vehicle? That's why they make houses with three car garages. I love my RX for what it is. I love my MR2 for what it is and I love my GS for what it is. On long cross country trips the RX is a nearly perfect touring vehicle. On short jaunts to the club the MR2 is tops. For those shopping trips the GS is just right.
