New break pads needed at 26k????

I don't haul anything, my tires are balding and wearing/rounding, and i drive in the city.

mpg is 16-18 city, 20-24 hw

Mpg indicates you dont have brakes dragging. In other words the wear has to come from depressing the brake pedal.

What about contents inside the RX (unladen weight + ? lbs ... specified limit is 500lbs).

Any other mod like slotted/cross drilled rotors, non-oem pads etc.

I have 2 12" subs in the back. Thats about it! All stock.

The 500lbs specified limit is quickly reached with 5 passengers. So if we eliminate the laden weight issue, I am leaning to the conclusion that "info is incorrect".

It seems the dealership was either wrong back in Dec or in Feb or at both times. Maybe the tech looked at the pad of a wheel that was off and not all. One would expect even wear (amongst front pair and rear pair). If there is uneven wear of pads, the problem is due to proportionating valve, but then you would see a pull to a side on braking [ABS maskes it as well].

I really cant think of anything else. Sorry, I cant be of more help.
