I joined the club in April,2017 right after I bought my 01 RX300. Now 7 years 279,000 miles and needing it's 3ed transmission it's time to move on. BUT, talking about good karma. Right after she momentarily jumped out and back in gear the 3ed time while letting off the gas, i knew whats coming and found the car of my dreams! A second gen (08) RX 350. WITH get this 50,997 original miles. Thank you Jesus!
Wow, 51k miles is an awesome find. I almost don't want to know, as I bought mine in June 2021 when COVID was still messing with used car prices, but if you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost? Mine was 99k miles for $10k (05 RX330.)
Just got this in the last two weeks. Im already in love with it. Well maintained at the dealer and I know the owner. Slowly detailing and adding OEM lexus extras like tow harness, cargo mat cigarette lighter tow hook etc.. I could'nt help but tint the front windows to more closely match the rear windows. It has the premium package including towing. Beautiful inside the leather is very nice. Thanks for having me! I have lots of odd questions about my new car Ha Ha! Of course I have lots of plans and a whole Dream list of upgrades! I'm Pretty Happy with the vehicle thus far and plan to keep it for a mild outdoor weekend camper. ( If I dont find one with half the miles!) I'll be selling my loved 2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible with only 42k and keeping this one TintedRX330
Congratulations! I will soon be picking up a 2008 RX400h, as I'm a poor retired person. I am also exploring my vehicle and there's a lot to take in. I wish you well with your new car, and look forward to hearing about your experiences with it.

Beautiful vehicle. Love that color, looks like bamboo pearl metallic, which is what mine is. Is it? Tint looks great! Mine is just the back windows. Lexus sure has good taste for what a wheel should look like. The previous owner put some weird looking aftermarket thing on mine so I'm going to pluck some OEM 17's off an RX at a wrecking yard.
121k miles, that isn't even broken in yet. I would dare say the 3MZ is going to last even longer than the 2GR. Yeah timing belt but a vehicle as well rounded as the 2nd gen RX is, it's worth it.
Thanks, I wish it was the Bamboo pearl as that would be my choice, but I am not at all unhappy with this millenium silver which is very much green hued by the way. Lexus did their paint colors right. The front windows I had done just after I got it. This one came with the optional 18" wheels which are great. I would recommend you look for a set of these if you are going to go OEM. Just barley breaking in. The timing belt on mine was replaced at the designated milage so Im good with that for another 30 to 50 thousand. I,ve owned at least a dozen or so cool cars in my life and Im real happy with this one and probably it will be the last car I'll ever have to buy.

That's another incredible color. They had amazing color choices, most of which were different shades when viewing from certain angles. Sometimes I do wish I had the engine yours has, even though the 2GR has more power. Yours is quieter, arguably smoother, and should last longer. The 2GR in this gen RX had several issues from what I've been reading.
Same, I've had several nice cars in my life but this is probably the best. the 2G RX is one of those cars that does everything right.
I researched vehicles that are lasting well. I bought this Florida 2G RX with 120,000 miles in March 2024 for $4800.usd including tax, title and the plate ($240) from a dealer . Only based on the worn out struts do I question the mileage. SO I went on Rock Auto and bought new brake rotors and pads and 4 new struts including springs for under $500. and then installed the parts myself. Now it runs great overall. No throbbing brakes and no highspeed wobble. Has a rebuilt title and you can tell the front bumper was painted, no crumpled metal visible anywhere- and underneath looks amazing with no rust. Overall very good condition for age. - I wanted a cheap suv to be able to tow a seadoo- and good enough to take the wife and daughter with me some where and leave enough money left over from my pick up truck sale to buy a seadoo. I have one issue to solve with AC and I will make a post for that.
