I' ve always liked the FX, I happen to like it's unusual but aggressive look, & of course it's one of the sportiest X-over SUV's available. However, it's really a SUV for people who don't really need a SUV imo. Many smaller station wagons/SUV's have more room/utility than the FX.

The only reason I can think of for buying one for me is because I like the way it looks, I can get sportier or more practical rides elsewhere.
I have actually considered getting one a couple years ago, but I just can't find enough reasons to buy one after thinking it over.

I agree with one of the above posters on not trying too hard to talk your friend out of the car she is already leaning towards. Just give her a few pro's & cons suggestions to help her in the decision process.
