Unhappy Front seat squeek & odor from AC

Hello All,

I have around 7500 miles on my RX330. And I start hearing squeek noise on the driver seat when I hit even a small bump. It's kind iritating for this LUV. Also, if I turn off the AC after using it for just 2 minutes, the amonia odor start coming out. I thought this AC issue is only happening in Honda / Acura cars, but hey it happens in Lexus too?

Ask the dealer to check the A/C drainage hole. Make sure it's not blocked.

Also make sure the cabin filter is in place.

My front seat squeeked and it drove me nuts. My husband said he did not hear it. The tech pretended not to hear anything and then blamed it on the seatbelt. He sprayed something on the seatbelt holder and it actually worked. The squeek went away. BUT believe me - there was a BAD squeek.

I also sometimes smell the air conditioner (weird smell) but it goes away. Good luck.
