Here are some of the terms I found

http://www.mcdermottlexusofnewhaven....S&version=live

I got my '07 RX 350 for 514.60 per mo. with tax included. Everything except Levinson and air suspension was on the truck. I even got them to throw the heavy duty rubber floor mats in the deal. I used the multiple security deposit option {MSD} and saved about $75 per month. Hope this helps

Oh...I almost forgot. No cap cost reduction @ all. I never put money down on leases. Just tax title and fees. I saved more money on the MSD payment then I would have made if the cash was sitting in the bank. C4

Could you please explain what the "Multiple Security Deposit" option is? I have never heard of it ~ thanks.

Of course, no problem @ all. You are allowed to make 9 refundable security deposits. The sec. dep. was 525 x 9 = 4725. Tax, title and fees equalled another 1100. I gave my sales guy $500 on the credit card to hold the car. So that's $5325 @ inception. $4725 of which I either get back, or I can use on my next car. I have a feeling that in 3 yrs maybe there will be an RX 500 or 600 to throw that deposit on. I'm just waiting for the Lexus pursuits credit card to arrive{they give ya 50,000 pts for signing up} and I'll put the $5325 on the new Lexus visa card. I was a little hesitant to take out another card due to credit score ramifications, but I said the hell with it since my credit score is fine. They give us 5 pts for every dollar we spend @ the dealership so that would be another 26,625 pts on top of the 50,000 for signing up. I figured the plan was to eventually put some nice factory chrome mods on the truck. I hope that answers your question. c4

I'm not wanting to lease. Is the golden opportunity only for leasing not buying?

Is Golden Opportunity time the best time to get a Lexus??
I mean... there will be a Labor Day sale coming and Thanks Giving.... and etc...
Some says it is and some people tell me to wait....
Just wondering when the price is the lowest for Lexus cars...

Default Here is what I found

At the end of each quarter (March, June Sept and Dec) there are sales goals that need to be reached. This impacts future vehicle allocations. Therefore there are 4 times during the year that you stand an improved chance of strikng a better deal in my opinion. Additionally, as you near the end of the year this pressure to move cars ratchets up.

As the year matures the odds are better within these 4 "prime" buying times. The end of September is an excellent buying time I have found. It is an early attempt to move cars so they avoid the end of the year push. If you don't get a burr under your saddle (or your wife doesn't start yammering about having to have one NOW) start looking around the first week or so after Labor Day. Your objective in the "game" is to purchase at dealer invoice plus tax, tag and title. You will most likely have to pay destination charges but you never know. Use the internet to avoid the in person high pressure crap they will pull on you. Now, find the vehicle you want right at the end of Sept. at a dealer who you feel you can deal with. Sept. 30 falls on a Saturday. Go down test drive the car Saturday afternoon. Leave inspite of all the salemans carrying on. Go back about 30 minutes before the dealership closes, tell him what you will pay, bottom line and out the door (invoice). Have your checkbook in plain sight. Have all your papers with you showing that you know what the invoice cost is etc.

Bet you get what you want if you can stick to your guns. You can, if necessary, carry this game over until Monday or possibly Tuesday as they can still back date the sale as long as you don't mind. So, don't feel like Saturday is YOUR last chance, you just want the dealer to think its his. And by the way, don't trade your current vehicle if you can avoid it. Sell it yourself. I sold our 99 RX for $5000 more than the stealer was willing to pay for it. I had one tell me they made more money on trade-ins than they did new cars most of the time.

Good Luck

Does anyone know if Lexus will have the 2008's ready in March, since the 2007s came out then, or will they wait until fall of 2008? I would guess there would be a bigger push to move the 07's in December if the 08's are coming out in March than in the fall.

I think everything is based on the APR ?

I got mine on 6/30 ( delived on 7/7 ) with 2.99 APR. I made 9 MSD's and got it down to 0.8X and my final payments were $445 for 48 months in Ohio. Its a PPlus and Navi ( no ML and no Air Susp ).

I was told by my local lexus guy yesterday as I test drove an 07 RX350 that the event is primarily for lease rates.. they cut the rate in half.. since I wouldnt be leasing I wasnt really paying attention.. he did mention that they are also "aggressively" pricing the vehicles but I think that can be said at any time of the year if you know what youre doing..
