Fix for "Check Air Conditioner" Message
There is a Fix for the "Check Air Conditioner" Message on the 2007 RX350.
Althouth a TSB has not yet been issued, Lexus dealers know about this problem and have been briefed as of a week ago. It is evidently in the "Air Conditioner Amplifier". Replacing the Amplifier solves the problem. My dealer fixed it this week on my RX, under warranty.
The problem is apparently widespread, but not universal. Turning the AC off, then on is the workaround until the part is replaced. It is a nuisance problem, and does not cause or imply a major AC malfunction. So far no word as to what RX's (by date of manufacture or serial #) may have the problem.
