List problems you had so far with your RX330/350

RX350 with 900 miles, rattle noise from left side window, I can't determine where it's coming from.
Lexus replaced "insulation kit", but the noise is still there, just a little bit less than before. I will be taking it back, but I understand this is not an easy fix, unless there are more people having this same problem.
I may need the whole left door assembly, or even a new car due to lemon law if they can't fix it in 3 attempts.

- Loose rear window (very load rattle)
- Upgraded firmware in transmission - had about a 2 second delay after pressing the accelerator that scared me half to death a few times.
- Loose sensor for rain sensing wipers - the wipers started when driving over uneven pavement and speed bumps.
- Back seat and front passenger seats loose and rattling - had this fixed 3 times, but it keeps coming back.
- The cross bars for the roof rack got stuck - replaced under warranty and then they started rattling, replaced again and same problem. Went back with that car again and was told that 'this is the way they are supposed to be ...'
- Passenger side exterior rear view mirror stopped working - replace under warranty
- Passenger side power window just started sounding like a chainsaw - this will be the next trip to the dealership ...

I get the dreaded error 4 code when I put more than one cd in the unit. My car is out of warranty so I'm waiting for someone to post a diy on how to solve this very annoying problem. Recently my rear power hatch has started to make a loud clunking, popping sound when closing. It does still close, although I've been closing it manually until I can find a solution to this problem. I also have had warping with my front rotors.

not sure about the error code, but my back hatch started doing the same thing. I found that using a silicone lubricant on the hatch struts pretty much solved that particular problem

2004 RX I have broken lockers for roof rack cross bars, too much money for fix it. CD driver is working fine for now but volume handle sometime will not adjuted a sound level I have to use steering control then it would work. Also track control will not go back only forward option works but also can be control from the steering, weird stuff. But drives fine so well I can live with this problems I care only about mechanicaly and make sure clean inside, which is difficult with two kids and almost white seats and carpet.

Bought a 2008 RX 350 with 48K miles from Carmax, Sacremento. Drove it all the way to Seattle.
a) Tail light went off. Lexus dealer charged me $50 to replace fuse.
b) Noticed a slight rattling on right hand side door. Took it to Lexus dealer but he asked me to pinpoint the problem to avoid having them charge me diagnostic charges which he felt would be excessive.
c) Realized that the stock stereo is pathetic . Am trying to find a solution to this. Still working on finding a solution that will fit my wallet and help my ear.
d) Get a loud creaking sound when I am braked and turning the steering wheel when I am getting out of the garage.
e) Cold weather start issues. Sometimes, it won't start at first try. Starts at second/third try. Has never happened to my 12-year old Acura. Probably a battery issue?
f) Yesterday when driving at 75 on the highway, felt a lot of jerks on the steering wheel. The jerks went away when I slowed down to 70. Wondering what it was!
The stock stereo is giving me sleepless nights. I tried putting an 8" subwoofer under the seat and that produced no noticeable difference in the pathetic sound quality. Took the SUV to CarToys and they said I will need to spend about $1100-1600 to make it sound decent.
All in all, I am having doubts if I did the right thing by jumping on the Lexus bandwagon from Acura. Also not sure if buying from CarMax was a smart idea.

Bought mine with 82500 less than 2 years ago, have 104000+ now and nothing, but the ordinary maintenance items...
Oh, the heat shield came off a bit...
I'm planning on doing some major maintenance somewhere around 130000. Like struts and shocks, bearing, possibly a radiator, water pump, belts etc. But that is only if I decide to keep it then...
P.S. Mostly driving in the city. And the city is New York. So wear is pretty bad around here with the quality of roads...
Overall, I really love the car for what it is and it's reliability. It's just that the driving style does not really suit me. I would get another car, but insurance is gonna kill me. Rates are too damn high in NYC.

2007 RX350 purchased new
Currently has 28,000 miles
Dealer servicing:
10,200 rattle near sunroof, replace air evaporator core, adjust loose hood fit
13,900 rattle near sunroof, air control servo motor replaced, replace deformed roof moldings, replace rear cargo cover stops (TSIB), replace oil hose (service campaign)
14,750 rattle near sunroof
15,500 rattle near sunroof (finally fixed)
Currently there's a rattle/rubbing noise that appears to come from the driver side dash or door. I probably won't do anything about that. It'll cost a lot and will most likely result in more new noises.
