Anyone out there getting a good deal on the RX350 in the southeast? Best I'm being offered right now for RX350 FWD with prem plus, 18 in wheels, rain sensing wipers/heated seats, and accessory package (wheel locks, cargo mat and towing prep package) is $3800 off MSRP $41,656, which is ~$1000 over invoice. I know southern Ca prices are $1200-$1600 below invoice and northeast prices are around invoice. Fleetrates offered $200-300 over invoice pricing to ship from Ca but I'm hesitant to use a shipping service for a brand new car that I'm not able to lay eyes on prior to purchasing.
Thanks in advance for your input. I'm hoping to get the RX for around invoice pricing.

For who asked me about my Lexus with 41K.
I meant I got 41K out of the door (everything was included) for FWD with Nav, 18' wheels and clear FloorMat. So before tax was around 37.7K.
Shipping isn't that bad, I suggest you buy it somewhere cheap and get shipped it to you if you calculated the shipping fee included and the deals still better than other dealers. Why ? because your lexus is still under warranty anyway. Thus, you can save that couple hundreds bucks to buy other thing for your car such as WeatherTech floor mat or...many other I guess.
So good luck !!!

Yeahhh !! go Lexus baby..!!!!

The car dealer works together with the shipping company, you will get your car "Brand NEW". Since the car is new, you do not have to worry about or need a test-drive (I think you did test driving RX350 in local dealer).
Besides saving you more than $1000, most importantly you can get one made in Japan (ask the sales person to get one for you, for which the first letter in vin is J (1st letter 2 is made in canada). You can not get one made in japan in east coast.
Good Luck.

Anybody know what the dealer hold back is on the RX 350? I looked at one over the weekend and only after 10 minutes of neg. the sales rep came back and offer it to me at invoice but I didn't pull the trigger yet because I see some people get this car below invoice, which mean there has to be a dealer holdback on it.

my family's looking to get the rx350 as well, and seeing how some people are getting below invoice, there HAS to be a holdback right?
In addition, how is the 2% holdback calculated? is it 2% of MSRP? or 2% of invoice?

Bosco,
Great price, I think you are in So Cal like myself because your price is very similar to my price. So far I've gotten a quote of $37,900 through the internet, no haggling yet.
Did your dealer say that the December to Remember sale started already? Is it the 0.00133 rate. I got the same rate as you but I wasn't sure if the sale started yet for real or not. I've been told that the sale started on 11/14 by dealers but looking through the internet, some are saying it starts 11/22, I don't want to jump the gun and over pay if they are coming out with even a lower money factor for the sale. But then again the 0.00133 might be the sale rate already because I haven't seen it cheaper.
Just to verify, you got a residual of 56% at 12K right, I keep getting different numbers that's why I'm asking. I guess the dealer was telling the truth when he quoted me 54% for 15K.
I'll PM to ask which dealer you got your deal from.
Also, can anybody else verify, if I want an 18K a year lease, is there no residual for that, I just prepay the penalty upfront or pay it later.
Thanks

people, people, people, pls do not believe everything said over on dealer's holdback. Do you really think the dealer is holding back $749 as profit? From what i understand (can't reveal my source), dealship is making 25 to 30% profit from the MSRP. No dealership purchase one car at a time from the manufacturer. They have discount in buy bunch of them at once. hence those translate into partial 25% to 30% profit.
The rule of thumb is dealership is willing to sell the car with around 20% profit. Therefore, u often time can get around 8% to 12% discount on MSRP.
don't ask or tell the sales, because they do not know.
