Default Has anyone ever removed the right side ac vent?

Hey Everyone,

Has anyone ever removed the right side air condition vent next to the glove box? I have sourced out the right side vent that has a cup holder in it just like the drivers side and wanted to know if the dash has to come out or ? before buying it. 100.00 US

Hey Sharpener,

Maybe we can help each other. I am in the United States. I will try to get actual price from a dealer here next week. Would you also contact a Lexus dealer there? Where are you? Would you email me at dlimjr@comcast.net?

May I ask, where did you source this? I would be interested in installing one as well.

The site for the right side is:

http://www.japanparts.com/db/partslist.php

If anyone orders, please let me know how long it took to get it and what the total bill was with shipping.

Thanks,

Don

I am too interested to know the shopping experience with them. I am looking at the JDM Harrier front grille and seat back table.

The one looks like the Thundercloud edition but with the Harrier emblem.

I ordered a Right Hand cup holder vent today from Japanpart.com. I paid using PayPal and the total was 12,007 Yen ($104.25). When I get it I'll let youknow how long it took to get here.

Since I have difficulty reading Japanese I did an on-line translation of the link that sharpener included in his first post here. Because the MS Word file with the translation is so large I'll have to post it in 3 parts -- one here and the rest in following posts. The translation is bad but gives enough insight, but will make you think twice about doing this. There are some pretty radical modifications you will have to do to your dash to make the Cup Holder Vent fit.
